Comfortably Numb

Hi everyone,

Bobby here. Hope you’ve all had a very productive week.

Firstly, Nick and I have more great news for the Pink Floyd fans among you. We have another note-for-note video lesson available for FREE in our Lessons section! This time, it’s the timeless classic “Comfortably Numb”. You can catch Nick’s fantastic tutorial, including both guitar solos here.

I’m still on tour in Europe with Brit Floyd. I know it seems like I’m always on tour, but this run is a particularly long one, taking in 56 shows in 19 countries.

We’re halfway though our tour now and I’m currently typing this from back stage at Gran Teatro Geox in Padova, Italy. We watched Steve Vai play an amazing show here just last night, so I’ve been scouring the dressing room in the hope to find one of the great man’s discarded picks!

Brit Floyd has spent the past couple of weeks touring the Balkans, performing packed out shows in Belgrade, Sarajevo, Niksic, Banja Luka, Split, Zagreb and Llubljana. The audiences in this part of the world are some of the best we’ve performed in front of and they have certainly made us all feel very welcome.

I’ll be home in the middle of December, when Nick and myself plan to film yet more high quality guitar lessons for Frethub’s members section.

I’d just like to conclude this blog by extending a warm welcome to all our new members. Thanks for taking the time to check out the site.
