New FretHub

Greeting fellow and future pluckers.

It has been a real pleasure to re-launch FretHub in a Smartphone and Tablet friendly format. Sorry it’s been such a long time coming! I hope you like the new fresher shinier look. Thanks to @darrenlambert for doing such a great job.

Thanks also to the new members who have signed up since the launch.

One of the biggest changes has been switching from PayPal to Stripe for handling payments. As several of our members will have experienced frustrations with automatic renewals on some quarterly and annual memberships and problems signing up, we sincerely hope this new system will finally put an end to these issues! Existing members however will remain on PayPal and I can manually fix any renewal issues quickly if you drop us an email.

Nick (moi) has just returned from a sell-out UK tour with the Official Queen Tribute ‘Queen Extravaganza’. We were delighted to be joined on stage for the bows by our Producer and Boss Roger Taylor from Queen. I was particularly overjoyed when he grabbed my hand after the show and shouted ‘You played f***ing great!’. Our regular singer Marc Martel has been going viral again with his extraordinary Freddie Mercury impressions and provided vocals for the new Queen movie ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’. Unfortunately he was unable to tour with us this year due to prior commitments but Brazilian singer Alirio Netto did a great job on vocals and as a frontman with his incredible energy and enthusiasm. Our final show at the legendary Hammersmith Apollo was once again the highlight.

In the mean-time its back to London’s West End to play guitar for the Official Motown show!

I wanted to let you know how much I am enjoying your lessons. I’ve been playing for about three years now and feel that I lack a direction. I’m a dad and husband with limited free time, so personal lessons are too hard to fit into my life right now. Your lessons are perfect. I like the professionalism of the lessons and they seem to be well organized. I have that sense of direction I was missing now.
