Fancy Some Backing Tracks?

Bobby here. Hope you’re having a great week. I’m tempted to say something along the lines of “Wow, September already! Where’s the year gone?” Okay, I will. Wow, September already! Where’s the year gone?

Online guitar lessons at FretHub We’ve been beavering away, here at Frethub HQ, filming new content for the site (you can follow our progress on Twitter). Some of this content is going to be free to non-members. I won’t reveal too much, because Nick and I both know how much you love surprises, but what I will say is that we’ve added this content due to very popular demand.

In other news, I’m off to the US next week for the second time this year with Brit Floyd. It’s essentially a mini tour. Not to be confused with a minotaur which is a part man, part bull mythical creature. This minotaur is, in fact, an addition to our 2012 North American tour earlier this year.

We’ll be playing at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada; River Pavilion in Eagle, Idaho; The House Of Blues in Anaheim, CA; The House Of Blues in Los Angeles, CA; The AVA Amphitheatre in Tucson, Arizona; the amazing Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado; and The Belly Up in Aspen, Colorado.

After the US, I get to come home for 4 days before heading off on a 10 week, 56 date tour of Europe, covering 19 countries. I would list the dates here, but I’d be typing all day.

Oh yeah, before I forget, back to the Frethub news once again. It’s worth mentioning that here at “The Thub”, we don’t just offer hundreds of high quality video guitar lessons. Additionally, we like to spoil our members with a growing catalogue of great backing tracks for you to practice soloing over.

Your site is just fantastic! I first picked up a guitar at school aged about 13 and played in bands through school and university but rather plateaued! I am now 47 but about 5 years ago I blew the dust of my fantastic 1983 SQ series Squire Stratocaster and had 5 private lessons. That just freed me to go to the next level and then I found Frethub and I cannot praise your site enough. Just brilliant. User friendly and so well structured. Well done to Bobby and Nick.
